Right, next time I should have trusted my taste bud more than the recipe. The grilled pork is wayyy too salty. Too much fish sauce and not enough brown sugar. But the black pepper added a nice twist, in the absence of lemongrass.
And coconut lime rice should probably not be cooked using brown rice. Heh, me and my skinny adaptation. I bet the taste is no where near the actual coconut lime rice. I can only imagine now.
